Travel-On Tire Safety Bands:

How They Protect You After Tire Failure

When an RV tire loses air pressure, the danger isn’t the flat tire — it’s what happens next.

The weight of the RV crushes the tire. The inner bead falls into the center channel of the rim.

The tire slides sideways.

The outer bead peels off.

The tire walks off the rim.

The RV’s weight collapses onto the tire carcass

The vehicle’s weight pushes down on the flattened tire.

The lower bead is drawn into the rim’s drop center channel

The inside bead continues to travel through the channel of the wheel and the outside bead is forced off the wheel.

As the tire rotates, both beads are pulled off the wheel at the bottom of the wheel by Centrifugal force.

As the RV continues in  motion the upper bead shifts out and away from the wheel.

Within seconds, the entire tire walks completely off the rim

How Travel-On Keeps You Safe

Travel-On is installed inside the wheel, blocking the drop-center channel — the very part of the rim where the tire normally falls during a blowout.

When the tire loses air Travel-On prevents the bead from sliding into the channel

The inside bead stays locked to the backside of the rim

The front bead doesn't have the room to continue to walk of the front the wheel

The RV stays stable and steerable

You gain precious seconds to slow down and pull over safely
