USING THE TIRE PRESS TO INSTALL or REMOVE RV TIRE SAFETY BANDS

Make sure tire bead is already broken from the rim. Do not use kit as a bead breaker.

Screw ¾ nut on one end of the threaded rod and then slide the washer and the base bar onto the threaded rod.

Position the base bar under the mounting hole of the wheel.

Set the ring on the tire and insert the 12” pillars in each receiver of the press plate or plates.

Insert the threaded rod through the center hole of one of the aluminum cross bars and insert the 5.5” pillar into the receivers of the cross bar.

Insert the threaded rod into the center hole of the other aluminum cross bar and insert the 6” pillars into the receivers of the cross bar.

Drop a washer down the threaded rod ad then screw the ¾ nut or fluted turning knob onto the threaded rod and keep turning so that the tire is pushed down to expose the drop center of the wheel.

Do not try to force the tire bead over the installed safety band. If the bead gets caught, you a screwdriver or something similar to pry the bead away from the obstruction.
